Viśokā Dvādaśī Vow, Guḍa-Dhenū (Jaggery-Cow) Gift, and Śaila-Dāna (Mountain-Charity) Rites
किं रूपा केन मंत्रेण दातव्या तदिहोच्यतां । पुलस्त्य उवाच । गुडधेनुविधानस्य यद्रूपमिह यत्फलम्
kiṃ rūpā kena maṃtreṇa dātavyā tadihocyatāṃ | pulastya uvāca | guḍadhenuvidhānasya yadrūpamiha yatphalam
“Ano ang anyo nito, at sa anong mantra ito dapat ihandog? Ipaunawa mo rito.” Sinabi ni Pulastya: “Dito ko ipaliliwanag ang anyo at ang bungang-punya ng ritwal ng guḍa-dhenū, ang bakang gawa sa jaggery.”
