वृद्धं पितरमुत्सृज्य दरिद्रं वनवासिनम् । क्व नु धर्मोत्र भविता मां त्यक्त्वा गतिमेव च

vṛddhaṃ pitaramutsṛjya daridraṃ vanavāsinam | kva nu dharmotra bhavitā māṃ tyaktvā gatimeva ca

Iniwan mo ang iyong matandang ama—dukha at naninirahan sa gubat; saan ngayon mapupunta sa iyo ang dharma rito? At kung iiwan mo ako, anong tunay na mabuting landas o mataas na kapalaran ang iyong maaabot?
