The Greatness of the Ancestors: Ekoddiṣṭa Śrāddha, Āśauca Rules, and Sapiṇḍīkaraṇa

सर्वसत्वरुतज्ञं मे देहि योगिनमात्मजम् । एवमस्त्विति विश्वात्मा तमाह परमेश्वरः

sarvasatvarutajñaṃ me dehi yoginamātmajam | evamastviti viśvātmā tamāha parameśvaraḥ

“Ipagkaloob mo sa akin ang isang anak na yogin, na nakauunawa sa mga tinig ng lahat ng nilalang.” Nang masabi ito, ang Kataas-taasang Panginoon, ang Kaluluwa ng sansinukob, ay sumagot: “Mangyari nawa.”
