दिवोदासस्तु धर्मात्मा चिंतयामास भूपतिः । सुब्राह्मणान्समाहूय पप्रच्छ नृपनंदनः

divodāsastu dharmātmā ciṃtayāmāsa bhūpatiḥ | subrāhmaṇānsamāhūya papraccha nṛpanaṃdanaḥ

Ang dharmika na hari na si Divodāsa ay nagmuni-muni; at ipinatawag ang mga pantas at banal na brāhmaṇa, sila’y tinanong ng prinsipe.
