Buddhi (personified Intellect)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Sandhi Resolution Notes: बुद्धिस्तेषाम् = बुद्धिः + तेषाम् (विसर्ग-सन्धि); तत्कथनम् = तत् + कथनम्; ज्ञानध्यानयोः treated as द्वन्द्व-समास ‘ज्ञान-ध्यान’ with genitive dual ending -योः.
Buddhi (Intellect), personified as an illustrious female figure, is the speaker; she functions as the instructor who clarifies the teaching for the listeners.
It introduces an exposition on jñāna (spiritual knowledge) and dhyāna (meditation), indicating a structured teaching that integrates understanding with contemplative practice.
It implies that right hearing (śravaṇa) should be followed by clear instruction and complete explanation, encouraging disciplined learning and sustained meditative application.
