The Birth of King Pṛthu: Vena’s Fall, the Sages’ Churning, and Earth’s Surrender

महावीरं प्रजापालं पृथुमेव द्विजोत्तम । पृथुर्वैन्यो राजराज्ये अभिगम्य चराचरैः

mahāvīraṃ prajāpālaṃ pṛthumeva dvijottama | pṛthurvainyo rājarājye abhigamya carācaraiḥ

O pinakamainam sa mga brāhmaṇa, si Pṛthu lamang ang dakilang mandirigma at tagapangalaga ng mga nasasakupan. Nang makamtan ni Pṛthu Vainya ang paghaharing panghari, ang lahat ng nilalang—gumagalaw at di-gumagalaw—ay lumapit upang magbigay-galang.
