Prabhāsa-kṣetra: Circuit of Tīrthas and Shrines Leading to Bhukti and Mokṣa
Narada (teaching the tirtha-mahatmya in dialogue with Sanatkumara tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It presents a tirtha-mahātmya style phala-śruti: sincere worship of the rising Sun cultivates vidyā (clarity and learning), and bathing at Kubera-sthāna is praised as a dharmic means for gaining prosperity, framed as an assured result of sacred practice.
Bhakti is expressed through upāsanā—reverent pūjā of Bālārka and faith-filled observance of tirtha snāna—showing devotion as disciplined worship that aligns the devotee with divine grace and auspicious outcomes.
The verse reflects Jyotiṣa-oriented religiosity through Sūrya-upāsanā (Sun worship) and emphasizes ritual practice (snāna at a designated tirtha), a practical application of dharmic procedure rather than grammar or metrics.
