Description of the Origin of the Cosmic Egg (Brahmāṇḍa) and the Ocean as King of Tīrthas
तस्मादंडाद्विराड् जज्ञे सोऽशयिष्ट जलांतरे । मुखादीन्यस्य जातानि विराजोऽवयवा अपि ॥ ६२ ॥
tasmādaṃḍādvirāḍ jajñe so'śayiṣṭa jalāṃtare | mukhādīnyasya jātāni virājo'vayavā api || 62 ||
Kaya mula sa kosmikong itlog na iyon, isinilang si Virāṭ. Siya’y nahimlay sa gitna ng mga tubig; at mula sa kanya, maging ang mga sangkap at mga bahagi ni Virāṭ—simula sa bibig—ay nahayag.
