It presents a Purāṇic tattva-utpatti chain showing how the manifest world unfolds in ordered stages—helping the seeker see creation as a structured emergence rather than randomness, and thereby cultivate detachment and discernment.
By depicting the cosmos as a dependent sequence of manifestations, it implicitly points to a higher source beyond the elements; bhakti turns the mind from the changing products (form, fire, water) toward the unchanging Lord who stands as the ultimate ground of creation.
This verse is primarily cosmological rather than a direct Vedāṅga rule; however, its elemental framework supports ritual reasoning in Kalpa (how fire and water function in yajña and purification) and aligns with traditional tattva discussions used in Vedic exegesis.
