Tinitigan niya ang gabing iyon, at ang isip niya’y lubos na nalubog doon. Pagkaraan, binigkas niya ang mga mantrang Vaiṣṇava at isang himnong may kaparehong diwa.
Narada (narrative voice within Uttara-Bhaga context; dialogue tradition with Sanatkumara framework assumed)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It emphasizes concentrated awareness (tad-gata-mānasaḥ) as the foundation for effective devotion—when the mind is absorbed, recitation of Vaiṣṇava mantras and hymns becomes a direct act of worship aligned with Viṣṇu.
Bhakti is shown as a lived practice: attentive contemplation followed by vocal recitation of Viṣṇu-centered mantras and a stotra-like hymn, indicating devotion through both inner absorption and outward praise.
The verse points to disciplined mantra-usage and correct recitation (linked with Śikṣā—phonetics—and Vyākaraṇa—proper word-forms) as practical supports for devotional practice, even though it does not explicitly teach a technical rule.
