तस्मिन्स्थाने यदा गंगा आगमिष्यति मोहिनी । तदा पुण्यतमः कालो देवानामपि दुर्लभः ॥ ३२ ॥
tasminsthāne yadā gaṃgā āgamiṣyati mohinī | tadā puṇyatamaḥ kālo devānāmapi durlabhaḥ || 32 ||
Kapag dumating sa banal na pook na iyon ang kaakit-akit na Ilog Gaṅgā, ang sandaling iyon ay nagiging pinakabanal at pinakamasuwerte—napakabihira na maging ang mga deva ay halos di makamtan.

It declares that the moment Gaṅgā reaches a particular tirtha becomes an exceptionally potent “puṇya-kāla,” where merit multiplies—so sacred that even devas rarely gain such an opportunity.
By exalting Gaṅgā’s sanctifying presence, the verse supports bhakti expressed through reverent pilgrimage, sacred bathing, and heartfelt remembrance—acts that purify and turn the mind toward the Divine.
It emphasizes kāla (proper timing) as a practical ritual principle—choosing an especially auspicious occasion for tirtha-snana and related dharmic acts, akin to the time-determination used in traditional jyotiṣa-based observance.
