Narada (hymnic praise within the narrative frame of Narada Purana)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches divine immanence: the Supreme is praised as present in cosmic powers (Sun and Moon) and in governance of the worlds (Lokapālas), showing that all sustaining forces are expressions of one Lord worthy of devotion.
Bhakti here is expressed as stuti (praise) and namaskāra (salutation), training the devotee to see the Lord in all functional deities and cosmic roles rather than treating them as separate ultimate realities.
Indirectly it aligns with Jyotiṣa (Vedic astronomy/astrology) by venerating Surya and Chandra—key luminaries for calendrical timekeeping (tithi, māsa)—which supports correct timing of vrata and ritual observances in Purāṇic practice.
