The Account of Kāṣṭhīlā (Kāṣṭhīlā-ākhyāna) within the Mohinī Narrative

यावद्गृह्णाति वक्त्रेण काष्ठीलां क्षुधितः स तु । तावन्निवारितः सद्यो मया लोष्टेन तत्क्षणात् ॥ ४७ ॥

yāvadgṛhṇāti vaktreṇa kāṣṭhīlāṃ kṣudhitaḥ sa tu | tāvannivāritaḥ sadyo mayā loṣṭena tatkṣaṇāt || 47 ||

Nang ang gutom na iyon ay halos masunggaban si Kāṣṭhīlā sa tuka, sa mismong sandaling iyon ay agad ko siyang napigil sa pamamagitan ng paghagis ng tipak ng lupa.
