FAQs

The verse declares that association with, or access to, the Vaishnava abode (Vishnu’s holy realm/holy city) is the highest spiritual gain—so potent that it is compared to a cintāmaṇi and to hidden treasure, implying it grants both worldly and transcendent fulfillment, culminating in moksha through Vishnu’s grace.

By praising the Vaishnava destination as supremely valuable, the verse emphasizes that devotion to Vishnu (vaiṣṇava-bhakti) is the direct means that “leads” one to the Lord’s abode; the comparison to a wish-fulfilling jewel highlights bhakti as the most efficacious spiritual practice.

No specific Vedanga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa) is taught in this verse; its practical takeaway is tirtha-mahātmya theology—valuing Vaishnava sacred space and devotional orientation as a disciplined spiritual means within Purāṇic Dharma.
