चतुर्थ्यां नक्तभुग्दद्याद् अब्दान्ते हेमवारणम् व्रतं वैनायकं नाम शिवलोकफलप्रदम् //

Transliteration

caturthyāṃ naktabhugdadyād abdānte hemavāraṇam vrataṃ vaināyakaṃ nāma śivalokaphalapradam //

Translation

Sa ikaapat na araw ng buwan, dapat kumain lamang sa gabi at sa katapusan ng isang taon ay maghandog ng gintong elepante. Ang panatang ito ay tinatawag na Vaināyaka Vrata at nagkakaloob ng bunga ng pag-abot sa daigdig ni Śiva.
