Matsya Purana — Navagraha Sacrifice for Planetary Pacification and Prosperity, Shloka 4

पुण्ये ऽह्नि विप्रकथिते कृत्वा ब्राह्मणवाचनम् ग्रहान्ग्रहाधिदेवांश्च स्थाप्य होमं समारभेत् //

puṇye 'hni viprakathite kṛtvā brāhmaṇavācanam grahāngrahādhidevāṃśca sthāpya homaṃ samārabhet //

Sa isang mapalad na araw, ayon sa itinakda ng mga brāhmaṇa, dapat ipagawa ang pagbigkas ng mga brāhmaṇa; at pagkaraang maitatag (maanyayahan) ang mga diyos ng mga planeta at ang kanilang mga namumunong diyos, simulan ang homa, ang handog sa banal na apoy.
