Matsya Purana — Navagraha Sacrifice for Planetary Pacification and Prosperity, Shloka 38

आ वो राजेति रुद्रस्य बलिहोमं समाचरेत् आपो हि ष्ठेत्युमायास्तु स्योनेति स्वामिनस्तथा //

ā vo rājeti rudrasya balihomaṃ samācaret āpo hi ṣṭhetyumāyāstu syoneti svāminastathā //

Dapat isagawa nang wasto ang handog na bali at ang homa para kay Rudra sa pamamagitan ng mantrang nagsisimula sa “ā vo rāje…”. Para kay Umā, gamitin ang “āpo hi ṣṭhā…”, at gayundin para sa Panginoon (Svāmin) ang mantrang nagsisimula sa “syonā…”.
