Adhyaya 83 — The Slaying of Mahishasura’s Armies and the Final Death of Mahishasura
दृष्ट्वा तदापतच्छूलं देवी शूलममुंचत ।
तच्छूलं शतधा तेन नीतं स च महासुरः ॥
dṛṣṭvā tadāpatacchūlaṃ devī śūlam amuñcata | tacchūlaṃ śatadhā tena nītaṃ sa ca mahāsuraḥ ||
Nang makita ng Diyosa ang trident na rumaragasa patungo sa kanya, pinakawalan niya ang sarili niyang trident. Sa pamamagitan nito, nabasag ang trident na iyon sa sandaang piraso—at nabuwal din ang dakilang asura.
