Adhyaya 73 — The Uttama Manvantara: Classes of Devas, Indra Sushanti, and the Royal Lineage
वशवर्तिनः पञ्चमेऽपि देवास्तत्र गणॆ द्विज ।
यथाख्यातस्वरूपास्तु सर्व एव महामुने ॥
vaśavartinaḥ pañcame 'pi devās tatra gaṇe dvija / yathākhyātasvarūpās tu sarva eva mahāmune
Sa ikalimang pangkat din, O dalawang-beses-na-ipinanganak, ang mga diyos ay ang Vaśavartins. Silang lahat, O dakilang ṛṣi, ay tunay na may likas na katangiang tumutugma sa paglalarawan sa kanila (sa pangalan at ulat).
