Adhyaya 71 — The King’s Remorse and the Sage’s Counsel on the Necessity of a Wife
तया मातुः सपत्नीयं सा भवित्रीति शोभना ।
दृष्टा स्वगेहं सा नीता गुप्ता चान्तः पुरे शुभा ॥
tayā mātuḥ sapatnīyaṃ sā bhavitrīti śobhanā / dṛṣṭā svagehaṃ sā nītā guptā cāntaḥ pure śubhā
Ang mapalad at kaibig-ibig na dalaga (Nandā), sa pag-iisip na, “Magiging kabiyak na kasama ng aking ina,” ay nakita siya; dinala siya sa kanilang tahanan at itinago sa loob ng panloob na palasyo.
