Shloka 65

Adhyaya 69 — The King’s Neglect of His Wife and the Restoration of Dharma

Sanskrit

गच्छ संयो जयाशु त्वं भार्यया हि द्विजात्तमम् । मा पापास्पदतां यातु त्वमिवासौ दिने दिने ॥

Transliteration

gaccha saṃyojayāśu tvaṃ bhāryayā hi dvijāttamam / mā pāpāspadatāṃ yātu tvam ivāsau dine dine

Translation

Humayo ka—agad pag-isahin muli ang dakilang Brahmin na iyon at ang kanyang asawa, upang hindi siya, araw-araw, mahulog sa luklukan ng kasalanan, gaya ng nangyari sa iyo.
