Adhyaya 54 — Cosmography of Jambudvipa: Continents, Oceans, Varshas, and Mount Meru

The north is described in correspondence with the south, reinforcing a worldview where the universe is patterned and mirrored—an invitation to perceive underlying order in apparent diversity.
Sarga/Sthāna cosmography: systematic listing of mountains by direction and their function as dividers/markers.
Repeated ‘as in the south, so in the north’ points to a hermetic principle of correspondence: macrocosmic symmetry can be contemplated as a guide for inner equilibrium and ordered perception.
