Adhyaya 51 — Yaksha Injunctions: Graha-Children and Female Spirits Causing Domestic and Ritual Disruptions
इति श्रीमार्कण्डेयपुराणे यक्षानुशासनो नाम पञ्चाशोऽध्यायः ।
एकपञ्चाशोऽध्यायः- ५१
मार्कण्डेय उवाच दुःसहस्याभवद्भार्या निर्माष्टिर्नाम नामतः ।
जाता कलॆस्तु भार्यायामृतौ चाण्डालदर्शनात् ॥

mārkaṇḍeya uvāca duḥsahasyābhavad bhāryā nirmāṣṭir nāma nāmataḥ /

Sa gayon, sa Śrī Mārkaṇḍeya Purāṇa, nagtatapos ang ikalimampung kabanata na tinatawag na “Pagtuturo sa Yakṣa.” Kabanata 51: Sinabi ni Mārkaṇḍeya: Si Duḥsaha ay may asawang nagngangalang Nirmāṣṭi. Sa panahon ng Kali, dahil sa pagkakita sa isang Caṇḍāla (itinuring na nasa labas ng kasta), siya’y naglihi sa kanyang takdang panahon.
