Adhyaya 49 — Primordial Human Creation, the Rise of Desire, and the Origins of Settlements, Measures, and Agriculture
तासां विना तु संकल्पं जायन्ते मिथुनाः प्रजाः ।
समं जन्म च रूपं च म्रियन्ते चैव ताः समम् ॥
tāsāṃ vinā tu saṃkalpaṃ jāyante mithunāḥ prajāḥ /
samaṃ janma ca rūpaṃ ca mriyante caiva tāḥ samam
Para sa kanila, nang walang anumang layon (saṃkalpa), ang mga supling ay isinilang na magkapares. Magkatulad ang kanilang pagsilang at paglitaw, at magkatulad din ang kanilang pagkamatay.
