Adhyaya 48 — The Emanation of Beings from Brahma: Night, Day, Twilight, and the Orders of Creation
सत्त्वमात्रात्मिकामेव ततोऽन्यां जगृहे तनुम् ।
पितृवन्मन्यमानस्य पितरस्तस्य जज्ञिरे ॥
sattvamātrātmikām eva tato 'nyāṃ jagṛhe tanum |
pitṛvan manyamānasya pitaras tasya jajñire ||
Pagkatapos, kinuha Niya ang isa pang katawan na dalisay na sattva lamang. Nang Siya’y maglihi sa paraang tulad ng mga Pitṛ, isinilang mula sa Kanya ang mga Pitṛ (mga banal na ninuno).
