Adhyaya 31 — Naimittika and Related Śrāddha Rites: Sapiṇḍīkaraṇa, Eligibility, Timing, and Procedure
तेषामन्यश्चतुर्थो यः पुत्रलेपभुजान्नभुक् ।
सोऽपि सम्बन्धतो हीनमुपभोगं प्रपद्यते ॥
teṣām anyaś caturtho yaḥ putralepabhujānna-bhuk | so 'pi sambandhato hīnam upabhogaṃ prapadyate ||
At may ikaapat pa, naiiba sa tatlong iyon, na kumakain ng pagkaing kinain na bilang ‘lepa’ (tira) ng anak; siya man ay nagkakamit ng pagdanas, ngunit nababawasan dahil sa mas mahinang ugnayang kamag-anakan.
