Adhyaya 30 — Madālasā’s Instruction on Household Duties and Naimittika–Śrāddha Rites
पुत्रजन्मनि यत्कार्यं जातकर्मसमं नरैः ।
विवाहादौ च कर्तव्यं सर्वं सम्यक् क्रिमोदितम् ॥
putrajanmani yatkāryaṃ jātakarmasamaṃ naraiḥ | vivāhādau ca kartavyaṃ sarvaṃ samyak krimoditam ||
Sa pagsilang ng isang anak na lalaki, anumang dapat gawin ng mga lalaki—na kauri ng ritong jātakarma—gayundin sa kasal at sa mga kahalintulad na okasyon, ang lahat ng iyon ay dapat isagawa nang wasto ayon sa itinakda.

Major transitions in family life (birth, marriage) are sacralized through ordered rites; dharma emphasizes doing them ‘samyak’—with correctness and restraint—so joy is harmonized with responsibility.
This is dharma-śāstric guidance embedded in a Purāṇa; it does not directly map to sarga/pratisarga/manvantara/vaṃśa/vaṃśānucarita, but supports social continuity central to vaṃśa.
Life-events are treated as ‘thresholds’ where unseen obligations (ṛṇa to pitṛs) are acknowledged; correct ritual order symbolizes inner order during change.
