Secrecy here functions as a narrative engine: extraordinary power/events are kept hidden, implying that disclosure is not always dharmically prudent when it risks disorder or harm.
This is not a doctrinal pancalakṣaṇa segment; it is carita (narrative episode) that may sit within a broader genealogical or moral arc.
Birth from ‘breath’ and ‘hood’ evokes prāṇa and nāga imagery: prāṇic impulse (niśvāsa) producing form, and the phaṇa (raised hood) as an emblem of awakened potency and protection.
