देवतातिथिभूतेषु भृत्येष्वभ्यागतेषु च ।
अभुक्तवत्सु येऽश्नन्ति तद्वत् पित्रग्निपक्षिषु ॥
devatātithibhūteṣu bhṛtyeṣvabhyāgateṣu ca / abhuktavatsu ye 'śnanti tadvat pitragnipakṣiṣu
Ang mga kumakain habang ang mga diyos, mga panauhin, mga nilalang na umaasa, mga lingkod, at mga dumarating ay hindi pa napapakain—gayundin sila’y may sala hinggil sa mga ninuno, sa banal na apoy, at sa mga ibon.
