Even when injured or humiliated, a dhārmika person maintains restraint and propriety; Yudhiṣṭhira’s act of preventing blood from falling to the ground reflects disciplined conduct and reverence for order and cleanliness amid adversity.
After being struck forcefully, blood flows from Yudhiṣṭhira’s nose; before it can drip onto the earth, he catches it in his hands, showing composure and ethical mindfulness in a tense situation.
