Draupadī’s Lament and Indictment of Misfortune
तत् कर्म कृतवानद्य कथं निद्रां निषेवसे । वहाँ पहुँचते ही सैरन्ध्री बोली--आर्यपुत्र! मुझसे द्वेष रखनेवाले उस महापापी सेनापतिके
tat karma kṛtavān adya kathaṃ nidrāṃ niṣevase |
“Matapos mong gawin ang gawang iyon ngayong araw, paano ka pa makapagpapahinga sa pagtulog?” Pagdating doon, wika ni Saīrandhrī: “O Aryaputra! Ang ubod-samang punong-kawal na may poot sa akin, na siyang humamak sa akin nang gayon—buhay pa; paano mo nagagawang matulog ngayon?”
