स सम्प्रहाय शयनं राजपुत्र्या प्रबोधित: । उपातिष्ठत मेघा भ: पर्यड्के सोपसंग्रहे

Transliteration

sa samprahāya śayanaṃ rājaputryā prabodhitaḥ | upātiṣṭhata meghābhaḥ paryaṅke sopasaṅgrahe ||

Translation

Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Sa gayon, nang magising sa pag-udyok ng anak na dalaga ng hari, tumindig siya mula sa higaan. Si Bhīmasena, anak ng angkan ng Kuru na maitim na gaya ng ulap-ulan, ay bumangon mula sa maayos na nakalatag na silya-higaan at nagsalita sa minamahal niyang reyna: “Devi, sa anong dahilan ka naparito sa akin nang gayong kabilis? Ang ningning ng iyong katawan ay hindi na gaya ng dati; may anino ng dalamhati sa iyo. Ikaw ay payat at maputla. Isalaysay mo ang lahat nang buo, upang maunawaan ko ang kabuuan.”
