युधिष्ठिरस्य अर्जुनप्रेषण-युक्तिवर्णनम् | Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rationale for Sending Arjuna and Request to Dhaumya

सप्तगड़े त्रिगड़े च शक्रावर्ते च तर्पयन्‌ । देवान्‌ 6 52 के, पुण्ये लोके महीयते,सप्तगंग, त्रिगंग और शक्रावर्ततीर्थमें विधिपूर्वक देवताओं तथा पितरोंका तर्पण करनेवाला मनुष्य पुण्य-लोकमें प्रतिष्ठित होता है

ghulastya uvāca | saptagaḍe trigaḍe ca śakrāvarte ca tarpayann | devān pitṝṁś ca vidhivat puṇye loke mahīyate ||

Ang sinumang, ayon sa wastong ritwal, maghandog ng tarpaṇa (pagbubuhos na alay) sa mga diyos at sa mga ninuno sa mga banal na tawiran na Saptagaḍa, Trigaḍa, at Śakrāvarta, ay pararangalan at matatatag sa daigdig ng kabutihang-loob.
