ततो विनशनं गच्छेत् सर्वपापप्रमोचनम् । वाजपेयमवाप्रोति सोमलोकं च गच्छति,तत्पश्चात् सब पापोंसे छुड़ानेवाले विनशनतीर्थको जाय, जिससे मनुष्य वाजपेययज्ञका फल पाता और सोमलोकको जाता है
tato vinaśanaṃ gacchet sarvapāpapramocanam | vājapeyam avāpnoti somalokaṃ ca gacchati ||
Pagkaraan, marapat na magtungo sa Vinaśana, ang banal na tawiran na bantog sa pag-aalis ng lahat ng kasalanan. Sa pagdalaw doon, sinasabing matatamo ng tao ang gantimpalang katumbas ng handog na Vājapeya at pagkaraan ay makararating sa daigdig ni Soma.
घुलस्त्य उवाच
The verse teaches that sincere pilgrimage to a sanctified tīrtha is a dharmic means of inner purification: it is praised as removing moral impurity (pāpa) and conferring merit comparable to a great Vedic sacrifice, culminating in an elevated posthumous destiny (Soma-loka).
The speaker continues a tīrtha-māhātmya sequence, directing the listener to go next to the sacred place called Vinaśana and stating the spiritual rewards of that visit—freedom from sins, Vājapeya-like merit, and attainment of Soma’s realm.
