Chapter 82

ऋषिभि: क्रतव:ः प्रोक्ता देवेष्विह यथाक्रमम्‌ | फलं चैव यथातथ्यं प्रेत्य चेह च सर्वश:,ऋषियोंने देवताओंके उद्देश्यसे यथायोग्य यज्ञ बताये हैं और उन यज्ञोंका यथावत्‌ फल भी बताया है, जो इहलोक और परलोकमें भी सर्वथा प्राप्त होता है

ṛṣibhiḥ kratavaḥ proktā deveṣv iha yathākramam | phalaṃ caiva yathātathyaṃ pretya ceha ca sarvaśaḥ ||

Wika ni Ghūlastya: “Itinakda ng mga rishi ang mga ritwal ng paghahandog (yajña) ayon sa wastong kaayusan, na iniuukol sa mga diyos. Ipinahayag din nila ang tunay na bunga ng mga ritwal na iyon—mga bungang natatamo nang di nagkukulang, dito sa daigdig at pagkamatay, sa kabilang buhay.”
