अथ गच्छेत राजेन्द्र देविकां लोकविश्रुताम् । प्रसूतिर्यत्र विप्राणां श्रूयते भरतर्षभ,भरतवंशशिरोमणे! राजेन्द्र! वहाँसे लोकविख्यात देविकातीर्थकी यात्रा करे, जहाँ ब्राह्मणोंकी उत्पत्ति सुनी जाती है
atha gacchet rājendra devikāṃ lokaviśrutām | prasūtir yatra viprāṇāṃ śrūyate bharatarṣabha ||
Pagkaraan, O pinakamahusay sa mga hari, magtungo sa bantog sa daigdig na tīrtha na tinatawag na Devikā—O toro sa angkan ng Bharata—sapagkat sinasabing doon naririnig ang salaysay tungkol sa pinagmulan ng mga Brāhmaṇa.
