नारद उवाच शृणु राजन्नवहितो यथा भीष्मेण धीमता । पुलस्त्यस्य सकाशाद् वै सर्वमेतदुपश्रुतम्,नारदजीने कहा--राजन्! सावधान होकर सुनो, बुद्धिमान् भीष्मजीने महर्षि पुलस्त्यके मुखसे ये सब बातें जिस प्रकार सुनी थीं, वह सब मैं तुम्हें बता रहा हूँ
nāradā uvāca: śṛṇu rājann avahito yathā bhīṣmeṇa dhīmatā | pulastyasya sakāśād vai sarvam etad upaśrutam |
Sinabi ni Nārada: “O Hari, makinig kang mabuti. Isasalaysay ko sa iyo ang lahat ng ito nang ayon mismo sa narinig ng marunong na si Bhīṣma mula sa pantas na si Pulastya.”
