अक्षद्यूतप्रवेशः — Kali’s Entry and the Initiation of the Dice-Contest
विप्रियं ह्याचरन् मर्त्यों देवानां मृत्युमृच्छति । त्राहि मामनवद्याड्ि वरयस्व सुरोत्तमान्
vipriyaṃ hy ācaran martyo devānāṃ mṛtyum ṛcchati | trāhi mām anavadyāḍi varayasva surottamān |
Sinabi ni Bṛhadaśva: “Ang mortal na gumagawa ng bagay na ikinasasama ng loob ng mga diyos ay tunay na sumasapit sa kamatayan sa kamay ng mga diyos. Iligtas mo ako, O babaeng walang dungis; piliin mo ang pinakadakila sa mga diyos.”
