नभो वितिमिरं कुर्वज्जलदान् पाटयन्निव । दिश: सम्पूरयन् नादैर्महामेघरवोपमै:,वह रथ आकाशको अन्धकारशून्य मेघोंकी घटाको विदीर्ण और महान् मेघकी गर्जनाके समान गम्भीर शब्दसे दिशाओंको परिपूर्ण-सा कर रहा था
vaiśampāyana uvāca | nabho vitimiraṃ kurvaj jaladān pāṭayann iva | diśaḥ sampūrayan nādair mahāmegharavopamaiḥ |
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “Ang karwahe ay waring nag-aalis ng dilim sa langit, na para bang pinupunit ang mga kumpol ng ulap-ulan; at sa malalim na ugong na tulad ng kulog—gaya ng dagundong ng malalaking ulap—pinuno nito ng tunog ang lahat ng dako.”
