तस्य भार्याभवद् राजन् रूपेणासदृशी भुवि । राधा नाम महाभागा न सा पुत्रमविन्दत,राजन्! उसकी परम सौभाग्यवती पत्नी इस भूतलपर अनुपम सुन्दरी थी। उसका नाम था राधा। उसके कोई पुत्र नहीं हुआ था
tasya bhāryābhavad rājan rūpeṇāsadṛśī bhuvi | rādhā nāma mahābhāgā na sā putram avindata rājan ||
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “O Hari, ang kanyang asawa ay walang kapantay sa ganda sa ibabaw ng lupa. Ang mapalad na babaeng iyon ay nagngangalang Rādhā; subalit, O Hari, hindi siya nagkaroon ng anak na lalaki.”
