यथोपजोष॑ राजेन्द्र द्विजातिप्रवरस्यथ सा | प्रीतिमुत्पादयामास कन्यारत्नमनिन्दिता,राजेन्द्र! उस अनिन्द्य कन्यारत्न कुन्तीने उन श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्यणको उनकी रुचिके अनुसार सेवा करके अत्यन्त प्रसन्न कर लिया

Transliteration

yathopajoṣa rājendra dvijāti-pravarasya tha sā | prītim utpādayāmāsa kanyāratnam aninditā ||

Translation

Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “O pinakamainam sa mga hari, si Kuntī—ang walang dungis na hiyas sa mga dalaga—ay naglingkod sa pinakadakila sa mga ‘dalawang ulit na isinilang’ na Brāhmaṇa ayon sa kanyang nais, at sa gayon ay nakamit ang kanyang lubos na kasiyahan.”
