सर्वेषामेव भवतां संतापो मा भवेदिति । अतो विरात्रागमनं नान्यदस्तीह कारणम्,नींद खुलनेपर मैं इतनी रातके बाद भी इसलिये चला आया कि आप सब लोगोंको मेरे लिये चिन्तित न होना पड़े। इस विलम्बमें और कोई कारण नहीं है
sarveṣām eva bhavatāṃ santāpo mā bhaved iti | ato virātrāgamanam nānyad astīha kāraṇam ||
Wika ni Mārkaṇḍeya: “Upang walang sinuman sa inyo ang mabalisa dahil sa akin, narito ako kahit sa ganitong kalaliman ng gabi. Wala nang ibang dahilan ang pagkaantala kong ito.”
