ततत्ते ब्रह्मणा प्रोक्ते तथेति वचने तदा
tataḥ te brahmaṇā prokte tatheti vacane tadā
Nang sandaling iyon, nang masabi na ni Brahmā sa iyo ang mga salitang iyon, sumagot ka agad: “Mangyari nawa,” tinanggap ang kanyang tagubilin at sumang-ayon sa banal na kautusan.
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical posture of accepting rightful divine or authoritative instruction—responding with clear assent (“tathā iti”) to uphold cosmic and moral order (dharma).
Mārkaṇḍeya recounts a moment where Brahmā speaks a directive or teaching, and the addressed person responds immediately with agreement—“So be it”—signaling acceptance and readiness to act accordingly.
