Adhiratha-Rādhā Discover the Casket; Vasuṣeṇa (Karṇa) is Adopted and Formed
अवध्य: सर्वभूतानां मत्प्रसादात् पुराभवत् । कस्माच्चित् कारणात् पाप: कज्चित् कालमुपेक्षित:,पूर्वकालमें मेरे ही प्रसादसे यह समस्त प्राणियोंके लिये अवध्य हो गया था। किसी कारणवश ही कुछ कालतक इस पापीकी उपेक्षा की गयी थी
avadhyaḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ matprasādāt purābhavat | kasmāc cit kāraṇāt pāpaḥ kaścit kālam upekṣitaḥ ||
“Noon, dahil sa aking biyaya, siya’y naging hindi mapapatay ng alinmang nilalang. Ngunit dahil sa isang tiyak na dahilan, ang makasalanang ito’y pinabayaan—hindi pinarusahan—sa loob ng ilang panahon.”
