Sāvitrī’s Dialogue with Yama and the Restoration of Satyavān
सर्वभूतरुतज्ञा त्वं पश्य बुद्धया समन्विता । केन चाश्रयवान् प्राप्तो ममैष भ्रातृगन्धिक:,'प्रिये! तुम समस्त प्राणियोंकी बोली समझती हो, साथ ही बुद्धिमती भी हो। अतः सोचो तो सही, यह मेरा नाममात्रका भाई किसका सहारा लेकर यहाँ आया है?”
sarvabhūtarutajñā tvaṁ paśya buddhyā samanvitā | kena cāśrayavān prāpto mamaiṣa bhrātṛgandhikaḥ ||
Wika ni Mārkaṇḍeya: “Minamahal, nauunawaan mo ang mga sigaw at pananalita ng lahat ng nilalang, at ikaw ay may talinong mapagpasya. Kaya pag-isipan mong mabuti: sa kaninong kanlungan nakarating dito ang isang ito—ang kapatid kong sa pangalan lamang?”
