द्रौपदी-शैब्यसंवादः — Draupadī’s Identification and Counsel on Hospitality

पाल्यमानास्त्वया ते हि निवसन्ति गतज्वरा: । ना्हस्येवंगते मन्युं कर्तु प्राकृतवद्‌ यथा,“तुमसे सुरक्षित होकर वे यहाँ निश्चिन्ततापूर्वक निवास कर रहे हैं। ऐसी दशामें तुम्हें निम्न कोटिके मनुष्योंकी तरह दीनतापूर्ण खेद नहीं करना चाहिये

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

pālyamānās tvayā te hi nivasanti gatajvarāḥ |

nārhasy evaṃgate manyuṃ kartuṃ prākṛtavad yathā ||

Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “Sa iyong pag-iingat at pag-aaruga, naninirahan sila rito na malaya sa lagnat ng pagkabalisa. Sa gayong kalagayan, hindi mo dapat hayaang manaig ang hinanakit o ang pag-aawa sa sarili gaya ng karaniwang tao.”
