शासने<5धिष्तिता: सर्वे कि कुर्म इति वादिन: । शत्रुवीरोंका संहार करनेवाले महाराज! इसी प्रकार सब राजा अपनेको किंकर बताते हुए आपकी आज्ञाके अधीन रहते हैं

Transliteration

śāsane 'dhiṣṭhitāḥ sarve kiṃ kurma iti vādinaḥ |

Translation

Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “Lahat sila’y nananatili sa ilalim ng iyong utos, paulit-ulit na nagtatanong, ‘Ano ang gagawin namin?’ O haring pumupuksa sa mga bayani ng kaaway, ganyan ang lahat ng mga pinuno: ipinahahayag nilang sila’y iyong mga lingkod at nananatili sa ilalim ng iyong kapangyarihan.”
