इति श्रीमहाभारते वनपर्वणि मार्कण्डेयसमास्यापर्वणि आड्िरसे कुमारोत्पत्तौ अष्टाविंशत्यधिकद्धिशततमो<ध्याय:

Transliteration

iti śrīmahābhārate vanaparvaṇi mārkaṇḍeyasamāsyāparvaṇi āḍirase kumārotpattau aṣṭāviṃśatyadhikadviśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ

Translation

Sa gayon, sa Śrī Mahābhārata, sa loob ng Vana Parva, sa bahaging nagbubuod ng salaysay ni Mārkaṇḍeya, sa yugto tungkol sa pagsilang ng Kumāra (Skanda), dito nagtatapos ang ika-228 na kabanata.
