ब्राह्मणानुयात्रा—शौनकोपदेशः
Brāhmaṇas Follow into Exile and Śaunaka’s Instruction
षडिन्द्रियाणि विषयं समागच्छन्ति वै यदा । तदा प्रादुर्भवत्येषां पूर्वसंकल्पजं मन:,जब मन और पाँचों इन्द्रियाँ अपने विषयोंमें प्रवृत्त होती हैं, उस समय प्राणियोंके पूर्वसंकल्पके अनुसार उसीकी वासनासे वासित मन विचलित हो उठता है
ṣaḍindriyāṇi viṣayaṃ samāgacchanti vai yadā | tadā prādurbhavaty eṣāṃ pūrvasaṅkalpajaṃ manaḥ ||
Kapag ang anim na pandama ay kumikilos patungo sa kani-kanilang mga bagay, ang isip—na hinubog ng mga naunang pasiya at nakatagong bakas—ay bumabangon at nagiging balisa.
