अर्थ एव हि केषांचिदनर्थ भजते नृणाम्‌ | अर्थश्रेयसि चासक्तो न श्रेयो विन्दते नर:

Translation

Sa ilang tao, ang yaman mismo ang nagiging sanhi ng kapahamakan. Sapagkat ang taong nahuhumaling sa tinatawag na ‘śreyas’ na nakukuha sa pamamagitan ng yaman—mga layaw sa daigdig—ay hindi nakakamit ang tunay na kabutihan.
